More rain forecast for flood-hit Thailand

Floods in Thailand continue to impact millions of people across the country, and authorities are warning there's more heavy rain on the way.

The capital, Bangkok, is still recovering from heavy flooding that hit last week after days of rain. Parts of the city remain under water, which has stranded vehicles and forced residents to get around in boats.

Flooding is also wreaking havoc along the Chao Phraya River, particularly in the provinces of Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani and Ang Thong, in the north of Bangkok. Disaster management authorities say the situation is impacting more than 3 million people.

Weather officials are forecasting thunderstorms and heavy rain for the capital and surrounds from Sunday to Wednesday. They're urging people to be prepared for the possibility of more flooding.
