A Nigerian man, Abdul Rasheed, has been arrested after calling 911 and faking illness to avoid paying a bill of $63 Lobster meal in a restaurant in the United States. Rasheed confessed that he attempted to escape paying the bill of the meal he ate as a customer at a Red Lobster restaurant in Douglas County, Georgia. According to a report by New York Post on Friday, the Nigerian was apprehended last Thursday. Consequently, he was booked into the Douglas County Jail on allegations of theft of services and unlawful conduct during a 911 call. He was being held on a $3,000 bond. He was found completely well when emergency responders arrived in his home, but unwilling to pay for his meal. “Instead of an ambulance trip to the hospital, he got a Very Important Person ride in the back of a police car to Douglas County Jail,” it added.
