Victor Osimhen has suffered another sharp fall in his Transfermarkt valuation, with the Super Eagles striker dropping from €75m to €65m in the latest market-value update, PUNCH Sports Extra reports. The €10m reduction comes after a summer in which the Turkish Super Lig attracted a remarkable collection of global stars, including Mohamed Salah, Rafael Leao and Dusan Vlahovic. The latest fall takes Osimhen, often regarded as one of the world’s best strikers, to a new four-year low. The last time he was valued at €65m was in June 2022, when he was 23 years old, barely two years after joining Napoli from Lille. When the Nigerian arrived at Galatasaray on loan in September 2024, he was carrying a €100m valuation, which made him the most valuable player in Super Lig history. Transfermarkt subsequently cut that figure to €75m because of his move away from one of Europe’s top five leagues. Transfermarkt kept him at €75m as recently as May, citing his elite status and interest from major European clubs.See more Punch stories on Google.Add Punch on Google The new €65m valuation leaves Osimhen €55m below his €120m career peak, which he reached during his Napoli years. Even after the latest reduction, Osimhen sits at the summit of the Turkish market-value landscape. Leao is valued at €50m, Vlahovic at €35m and Salah at €22m, leaving the Nigerian well ahead of all three. Osimhen has started the 2026/27 season in excellent form, contributing six goals and two assists in only four league games for Galatasaray, a run that could have been expected to boost his valuation rather than reduce it. However, he is yet to feature in the Champions League for Galatasaray or in the AFCON qualifiers for Nigeria, following an injury he suffered during league action earlier in September.
