Over 1,300 candidates get appointment letters at Cuddalore job fair

As many as 1,340 out of 3,719 candidates who took part in a private job fair organised in Cuddalore on Saturday (September 12, 2026) secured jobs.
The fair, organised by the Cuddalore district administration and Cuddalore district employment and career guidance centre, saw 218 companies recruting candidates for jobs. Candidates who had studied till class VIII, X, or XII, diploma, ITI courses, engineering and teaching courses took part.
Of the total participants, 1,340 secured jobs. Another 312 were identified for the next round of selection .
Cuddalore Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar handed over appointment letters to candidates who got jobs.
