Paddling for hope and protecting the living waters of the Pacific - ABC Pacific ABC News & Headlines – Australian Broadcasting Corporation
As Christians around the world mark the Season of Creation, churches across the Pacific are reflecting on this year's theme, Living Water, and what it means to care for the oceans, rivers and reefs that sustain Pacific life. At the same time, the Pacific Conference of Churches' Paddle for Hope journey has seen Reverend James Bhagwan and Graham Taylor SUP around Viti Levu carrying a message that protecting those living waters also means tackling plastic pollution and environmental degradation. To unpack this eco-pilgrimage, I'm joined by Frances Namoumou, Ecological Stewardship and Climate Justice Programmes Coordinator.
