Patrick Clancy has broken his silence following the collapse of the murder trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, and revealed he speaks to his dead children "all the time,” in an emotional interview with 60 Minutes this coming Sunday where he will be joined by new wife.

Lindsay Clancy killed the couple’s three children - Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; Callan, eight months - at their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, in January 2023, before a suicide attempt which left her partially paralyzed.

Her defense team said she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the murders and could not be held criminally responsible. The prosecution argued that Clancy was lucid and in her right mind when she made the decision to kill her children. The case ended in a mistrial September 4 after the jury could not reach a verdict.

In the interview, which will air in full Sunday, Clancy said that he still speaks to his children "all the time." When asked what he says to his children, Clancy replied: "Help me."

Clancy will be joined for a portion of the interview by his new wife, Dr. Rachel Danis, according to a clip posted Thursday by 60 Minutes.
