Peevees Model School, Nilambur, has won the district-level CBSE school magazine competition organised by the Malappuram Central Sahodaya. The school’s magazine titled Meraki will now represent Malappuram district in the State level competition.
Floraison, the magazine of Najath English Medium School, Karuvarakundu, won the second place while Noubahar, the magazine of Khadija English Medium School, Manjeri, secured the third place.
The competition aimed to showcase the creative and literary talents of students in CBSE schools in the district. Judges assessed the magazines for content, editorial quality, relevance of themes and design.
Meraki was based on the theme school life and featured students’ friendships and memories. Staff editor Binu P.K. and student editor Swathi Shankar led the editorial team.
Floraison explored the impact of technology on human life through the theme ‘AI and us’. Staff editor Remsheena and student editor Nishal N.K. led the magazine.
Noubahar focused on values and morality, and featured writings on values in personal and social life. Staff editor Mohammedali and student editors Mohammed Haneem K. and Fathima Fousan U.T. led the team.
