Emergency services are working to free a person who became trapped in a grain silo at a GrainCorp facility in the central Victorian town of Dunolly this afternoon.
The Country Fire Authority (CFA) said multiple units, along with Fire Rescue Victoria, responded to reports a person had become trapped in the silo just before 3:30pm.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were at the scene and an air ambulance had been deployed.
The spokesperson said one person was being treated at the scene.
The CFA said the incident was still ongoing.
WorkSafe Victoria said it had been notified of the incident and had investigators and inspectors responding.
GrainCorp confirmed the incident had occurred at its facility.
"GrainCorp can confirm an incident has occurred at our Dunolly site and we are working closely with emergency services as they respond," a spokesperson said.
"As the situation is still unfolding, our immediate focus is on the safety and welfare of the individual involved."
