Raiders sign former Bears mid-round wide receiver - Raiders Wire

Victory Monday saw the Raiders make a couple moves at wide receiver. Las Vegas added WR Tyler Scott to the practice squad while releasing WR Ronnie Bell in a corresponding move.

Scott was a fourth round pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Cincinnati.

The 5-11, 185-pounder appeared in 28 games with four starts over two seasons in Chicago. He put up 17 catches for 173 yards in those appearances. He also had 13 kick returns.

Scott was released prior to the start of the 2025 season and spent the year on the practice squads for the Colts, Seahawks, and Rams. He spent the offseason with LA and was released with the final roster cuts in August.

Klint Kubiak said on Monday that the team will be without WR Jack Bech for a while, which means the Raiders will have to move some receivers around and could use the depth at the position.

He joins Cody White and Deven Thompkins on the team's practice squad. Though White may have earned a promotion to the active roster officially after three touchdown catches in three elevations.
