The police in Ranipet have handed over 50 βlost and foundβ mobile phones, cumulatively valued at βΉ6 lakh, to the respective owners.
The phones were traced by the Ranipet district cybercrime police thanks to the introduction of a cell tracker application. Since June, 340 mobile phones worth βΉ44 lakh were recovered and returned to owners, police said.
