MANILA, Philippines β Former speaker Martin Romualdez, cousin of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., is now detained at the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas over his P7.44-billion plunder case allegedly related to flood control corruption.
Romualdezβs detention comes only a week after his arrest because he was placed under hospital confinement.
