Revanth directs officials to expedite Warangal super-speciality hospital works

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the construction of the Warangal super-speciality hospital while expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace of works despite funds being sanctioned through the green channel.

Reviewing the progress of the hospital on Monday, he asked the officials to ensure that works progress round-the-clock over the next 30 days. Officials from the Chief Minister’s Office should regularly visit the site and review the progress, he said.

The Chief Minister directed the authorities to appoint special officers to monitor different components of the project and assign specific responsibilities to individual officers. He also instructed the Warangal district Collector to personally monitor the hospital works on a daily basis.

He directed officials to make outpatient (OP) services available at the earliest. The OP services should be organised on the lines of those at the TIMS hospital in Sanath Nagar, he said.

He directed that staff quarters at Sanath Nagar TIMS be taken up immediately. MP Vem Narender Reddy, senior officials Sridhar, Vikas Raj, Manick Raj, Christina Z. Chongthu, T.K. Sridevi, and Warangal Collector Satyasharda Devi, Hanamkonda Collector Chahat Bajpai were among present.
