Rise & Fall 2: Actor Kajal Raghwani claims Aamrapali Dubey got her ousted from films
Rise and Fall 2 has been seeing several candid conversations among its contestants, with personal experiences and professional equations frequently becoming topics of discussion. In a recent conversation with Sara Gurpal, actor Kajal Raghwani appeared to speak about her past professional relationship with actor Aamrapali Dubey, making allegations about how she was treated in the Bhojpuri film industry.
During the conversation, Kajal was asked whether she had previously worked with Aamrapali and if there had been any disagreement between them. Recalling her experience, Kajal alleged that she had been removed from several films and claimed that she was later told Aamrapali was behind some of those decisions.
Kajal further alleged that if she was working on a film and one of her songs became popular, it would sometimes be shifted to Aamrapali. “Voh jinke saath regular work karti hai, voh ek actor hai toh voh unki zyadatar filmein karti hai. Aur mujhe kayi filmo se nikala gaya tha. Aur mere paas voh cheezein aayi hai ki haan, inhone nikala,” she said. (The actor she regularly works with, she does most of his films. She went on to claim, “Agar main koi film kar rahi hoon aur usmein koi gana achha aa gaya, toh voh gana apne par shift karwa lete the. Toh yahi sab cheezein thi.” (If I was doing a film and one of its songs turned out well, they would get that song shifted to her. So, these were the things that happened.)
The Patna se Pakistan actor said she had her reasons for speaking about the alleged incidents, adding that people were offended by her decision to raise the issue. “Maine jo bhi hai, woh genuine reason rakha. Toh logon ko mirchi lag gayi, bura lag gaya,” she added. (Whatever I said, I had a genuine reason for saying it. People got offended and didn’t like it.)
She further compared their positions in the industry, suggesting that Aamrapali had an advantage because of her association with a star. “Aapke paas ek star hai aapke peeche, toh aap ye cheezein kar pa rahi hain. Main nahi kar pa rahi thi,” she said, seemingly referring to actor Dinesh Lal Yadav.(You have a star backing you, which is why you are able to do these things. I wasn’t able to do them.)
