Rise & Fall 2: Gautam Gulati, Shehzad Poonawalla in fierce battle for Ultimate Ruler
The race to become the Ultimate Ruler on Rise & Fall Season 2 has entered its final stretch, with Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawalla emerging as the last two contenders in the power-packed battle. As the competition narrowed, a series of eliminations reshaped the equation in the Tower, leaving Gautam and Shehzad to fight it out for the coveted title.
The latest episode was filled with shifting power dynamics, beginning with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s dramatic fall from the Penthouse to the Basement. While her new surroundings clearly did not impress her, her attitude remained unchanged. As Priyanka voiced her displeasure downstairs, Gautam, Irina Rudakova and Swara Bhasker discussed her behaviour in the Penthouse, with Gautam suggesting that she needed to be more soft-spoken.
The conversation around Priyanka continued downstairs, where Sara Gurpal and Niharika Tiwari also questioned whether her dominating approach could turn the Workers against her. From being one of the most powerful Rulers to becoming the centre of conversations across both floors, Priyanka’s fall appeared to have made her the latest target in the Tower.
Meanwhile, the Bollywood-themed evening brought some lighter moments, with Shehzad taking another dig at Priyanka’s move to the Basement. The Rulers were also asked to assign movie titles to one another based on majority votes, turning the fun activity into an interesting glimpse of how they perceived each other.
However, the mood downstairs was far less celebratory. The Workers were unhappy with the treatment they had received, and although the Lift attempted to lift their spirits with food and a reminder of the bonds they had formed, Sara remained emotional over what had happened.
Swara, meanwhile, had a clear strategy when it came to Priyanka. She told Shehzad to stop discussing her, arguing that giving Priyanka attention only gave her more footage. She even labelled her a narcissist, saying attention was like sunlight for such people. Yet, despite Swara’s attempt to shut down the conversation, Priyanka remained a talking point across both floors.
The biggest twist came when Tej Pratap Yadav’s reign as Ultimate Ruler neared its end and the contestants were given a chance to determine who would remain in contention for the coveted position. A set of tickets arrived in the Lift, with different three-person combinations deciding who would be eliminated from the Ultimate Ruler race.
Shehzad and Tej chose Raj’s name, while Swara picked Karan, resulting in Raj’s elimination from the race. In the next round, Gautam, Karan and Irina came into play. Karan chose Tej, while Irina and Gautam both picked Swara, sending her out of the race.
The following round saw Tej, Shehzad and Raj pick Karan, while Gautam chose Shehzad and Raj and Karan selected Tej. The voting ultimately sent Tej out of the Ultimate Ruler race. In the final round, Karan, Swara and Tej went back and forth over their choices, with Irina eventually being eliminated.
With the field now narrowed down, Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawalla emerged as the final contenders to become the Ultimate Ruler of Rise and Fall Season 2. The battle now comes down to two Rulers, with the final outcome set to determine who takes the ultimate power in the Tower
