Foreign students from 10 countries appear in computer-based test
Rawalpindi Medical University (RMU) conducted the second National Equivalence Board (NEB) Examination of 2026 in accordance with the standards and regulations of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
Foreign medical and dental students from 10 countries, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, appeared in the computer-based examination.
The NEB examination is conducted twice a year to assess the knowledge, clinical skills and professional attributes of students who have partially completed a medical or dental programme at a foreign institution and are seeking transfer to a medical or dental college in Pakistan.
The result of the examination is expected to be declared within one week. PM&DC will issue the required no-objection certificate (NOC) to candidates who qualify the examination. However, final transfer will remain subject to the availability of seats in the respective medical or dental institutions.
