Saints will be without 1st round LT Kelvin Banks Week 3 vs Raiders - Raiders Wire

The Saints got bad news on Monday. They have lost start left tackle Kelvin Banks with a high ankle sprain. The 2025 first rounder will have surgery to repair the injury, which means he will likely miss a couple months.

Banks left the game in Baltimore near the end of the third quarter and didn't return. He was replaced at left tackle by Asim Richards.

The Saints were down 17-9 at the time of Banks's injury and would come back to win the game 24-17, going on two long touchdown drives in the fourth quarter.

With a one-point loss to a high-powered Lions in Week one and this come-from-behind win, the Saints are proving to be a talented team this season, even without Banks in the lineup. Which means the Raiders were need to take advantage of everything they can if they hope to get another win in New Orleans.
