Sean McVay gives injury update on Rams CB Jaylen Watson’s shoulder - Rams Wire

The Los Angeles Rams continue to be hit with the injury bug after Sunday night's defeat to the Denver Broncos. One of the biggest concerns revolves around cornerback Jaylen Watson, after he left the game with a shoulder injury and was spotted wearing a sling when departing the stadium.

Head coach Sean McVay provided an update on Monday, with Rams insider Adam Grosbard reporting that Watson dislocated his shoulder and will likely miss this week's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Watson will not go on injured reserve, meaning he will avoid missing at least four weeks.

In the meantime, the Rams are set to use Trent McDuffie, Emmanuel Forbes, and Josh Wallace at the outside cornerback position.

Before Watson went out with an injury, the Rams were leading 16-0. In the second half, Denver quickly closed the gap with a 16-point third quarter before outscoring Los Angeles in the fourth quarter to steal the victory.

The Rams have lost their last four contests against Philadelphia, with their last win coming in 2020.
