Shafi Jan condemns alleged detention of PTI leaders
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information, Science and Technology Minister Shafi Jan has strongly condemned the alleged detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja and other party leaders by Islamabad police when they were reportedly stopped from attending the funeral of local PTI leader Ejaz Satti.
In a statement issued here, Shafi Jan described the incident as extremely unfortunate and condemnable, saying that Salman Akram Raja was on his way to attend the funeral of Ejaz Satti, who, according to the minister, died while in police custody.
