Skoda Auto India to hike vehicle prices by up to Rs 20,000 from October 1

Skoda Auto India will increase prices across its vehicle range by up to 1.2% from October 1, 2026. The company has attributed the price hike to rising input and operational costs.

The price revision will apply to the ex-showroom prices of Skoda models sold in India, with the quantum varying depending on the model and variant. The maximum increase has been capped at Rs 20,000.

Skoda currently sells the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq in India, along with performance-focused models including the Octavia RS and Kodiaq RS. The company has also introduced new trims and features across its portfolio during 2026, including the Sportline variant of the Kylaq and Classic+ and Prestige+ trims.

The company said it has recorded its highest-ever first-half sales in 2026. As of August, koda had sold more than 50,000 vehicles in India during the year, representing growth of over 8% compared to the same period in 2025.

Skoda sold 72,655 vehicles in India in 2025, its highest annual sales at the time. The company also said that more than 250,000 locally manufactured vehicles have been sold during its recent growth phase, including the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia. The Kylaq alone has crossed 75,000 units in sales.

The automaker has also expanded its retail network to more than 345 touchpoints across 193 cities in India.
