Sombr Is on the 2026 TIME100 Next - Time Magazine

Sombr grew up in a house where music was everywhere. His dad played in bands, and some of his earliest memories are of instruments and records being played around the house; I understand how much that impacts you. My parents shaped so much of who I am today—creatively, personally, and ethically.

What I love is how Sombr has taken his influences and made them completely his own in his 2025 debut album. The world has fallen in love with his music because it feels deeply emotional, vulnerable, and true to who he is.

Sombr represents everything that excites me about the next generation. He has his own voice, his own point of view, and he isn’t afraid to be completely himself.

He is truly one in a million, a completely unique creature, so being one of a hundred honored by TIME is just the beginning.
