One man has the superpower of finding the extraordinary in ordinary people, and his name is, Jackson Hughes. 

Jackson is an autistic journalist working with ABC Sunshine Coast. 

His  interviewing style shines on local radio with the creation of Extraordinary Ordinaries. 

Jackson joined the ABC Sunshine Coast team after graduating from Season One of the Logie-nominated TV Show The Assembly, where acclaimed Journalist Leigh Sales mentors young people on the spectrum. 

Jackson's  radio interviews on ABC Sunshine Coast  inspired a listener to text in and suggest he creates a segment called Extraordinary Ordinaries.

 Jackson is supported by ABC’s Braedan Jason and his support worker Lily who Jackson calls his Executive Support Liaison. 

Tomi Gray is a nomadic musician who joined a travelling circus in 2025. 

Jackson and Tomi discuss living on the road, the hardest moments of his life, and how a missed message on social media saw Tomi take his talents to The Voice.
