Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy placing a wreath on the mortal remains of spiritual guru Kalki Bhagavan at the ‘Ekam’ centre in Tirupati district on Friday.
The mortal remains of spiritual guru Kalki Bhagavan were laid to rest on the premises of ‘Ekam – The Oneness Temple’, at Bathalavallam village of Varadaiahpalem mandal in Tirupati district on Friday.
Kalki Bhagavan, formerly known as Vijay Kumar Naidu, breathed his last in Chennai on September 29. The government decided to accord him a funeral with State honours.
Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, as State representative, placed a wreath on the mortal remains of Kalki Bhagavan and paid tributes. He also conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
District Collector S. Venkateswar, Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, Sullurpeta MLA Nelavala Vijayasri and MLC B. Kalyan Chakravarthy were among those present.
