Tenders for permanent infra facilities for Godavari Pushkarams by November end

East Godavari District Collector Chekuri Kirthi on Monday announced that tenders will be invited by the end of November for permanent infrastructure facilities for the Godavari Pushkarams-2027. The temporary facilities will be provided by next March.

In a review meeting attended by EV Consultancy, which carried out studies on Kumbha Mela, Ms. Kirthi said that the permanent infrastructure facilities include development of ghats, beautification of river banks, the Digital Experience Centre and Pushkar Nagar offices. 

The officials are also gearing up for a special drive, Paint My City, to celebrate the cultural history of Rajamahendravaram city. The lighting facilities, sanitation, themed entrance gates, and themed lighting facilities would be provided under the temporary work category. 

The officials have been told to finalise the proposed works to be able to complete them before the deadlines. Joint Collector Y. Megha Swaroop, Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rahul Meena and other officials were present.
