The empress is here: Internet bows to Aishwarya's crown moment at Paris show
Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan once again proved why she is a force to reckon with on the global fashion stage. The actor left fans impressed with her regal ‘queen’ energy as she closed L'Oreal Paris’ Le Dfil show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday. Walking the ramp at Place Joffre against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and cole Militaire, Aishwarya made a dramatic statement in an all-black couture look, complete with a diamond-encrusted crown that perfectly matched her royal aura.
For the showcase, titled ‘Express Your Worth’, Aishwarya wore a custom ensemble from Syrian luxury label Yara Shoemaker’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 couture collection. Aishwarya’s outfit featured a two-piece velvet gown with 3D fringe embroidery and a crystal-embellished cape. The fitted gown came with a plunging neckline, a cinched waist and a dramatic floor-length silhouette. The look was completed with a velvet cape, detailed along the borders with pearl and crystal embellishments.

The star-studded showcase brought together an international line-up of L’Oreal Paris ambassadors, with Aishwarya sharing the stage with Simone Ashley, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Celine Dion. One of the evening’s most memorable moments came when Aishwarya and Celine held hands, shared a warm hug and kiss, and even broke into an impromptu dance on stage.
