Three boys, all aged 14, went missing after they were reportedly swept away by strong waves while playing in the sea at Rushikonda beach near the IT SEZ junction in Visakhapatnam on Friday (October 2, 2026).
According to preliminary information, the three boys were part of a group of students from the Madhurawada area who had come to Rushikonda beach on holiday. The boys reportedly ventured into the sea and were playing in the water when strong waves pulled them into deeper water.
The other members of the group raised an alarm after the three boys went missing. Local residents and swimmers immediately rushed to the spot and attempted to trace the boys, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
