Autumn is bringing the mountains of northwest China's Xinjiang region to life! Rare Tianshan wapiti have been spotted roaming through meadows, while herds of Siberian ibexes make their way across the rugged highlands. Once difficult to spot in the wild, these animals are now appearing more frequently – a welcome sign of improving habitats and progress in local conservation efforts.
