UK team offloads passenger during inspection
A UK immigration team has arrived in Pakistan and visited Islamabad and Lahore airports to review immigration arrangements and facilities for passengers travelling to the United Kingdom, airport sources said.
UK officials offloaded a passenger, identified as Imran Ali, from PIA flight PK-757 bound for London, sources said. British officials questioned passengers on various matters. The passenger was offloaded after officials were reportedly not satisfied with his responses.
Officials from PIA, the CAA and the PAA subsequently submitted a report on the incident to senior authorities.
