University of Northern Philippines-Vigan grad tops August, September 2026 PNLE - GMA Network

A graduate of the University of Northern Philippines-Vigan obtained the highest score in the Philippine nurses licensure examination held in August and September 2026.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 28,652 out of 37,359 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Nursing at 26 test centers across the Philippines.

The results of examinations with respect to 21 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations, PRC said.

The PRC said that starting October 13, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. It added that the instructions are on its website. Those who will register are required to bring the following: 1) Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form; 2) valid government-issued ID. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced soon, the PRC added. —LDF, GMA News
