Actor Vidyut Jammwal marked Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 with a traditional touch as he visited Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Monday. The actor and martial artist not only sought darshan and participated in the aarti but also joined the festivities by playing the damru and blowing a conch shell.
Dressed in a white ethnic outfit, Vidyut offered prayers before the idol before picking up the traditional instrument and later blowing the shankh. A video from his visit has surfaced on social media, showing the actor immersed in the celebrations as devotees gathered around him.

Lalbaugcha Raja is among Mumbai’s most prominent Ganesh idols and draws lakhs of devotees during the 10-day Ganeshotsav celebrations every year. People from across Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra visit the pandal to offer prayers and seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings.
The Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal is celebrating its 93rd year in 2026, with the festivities beginning on September 14. This year, the pandal’s decorations have also become a talking point, with the mandap designed around a Mahadev theme inspired by the Mahakaleshwar Temple.
Meanwhile, Jammwal is set to make his Hollywood debut with Street Fighter as the iconic yoga master Dhalsim.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, Street Fighter is based on the legendary video game franchise, promising intense action with iconic elements like Hadoukens and martial arts battles. The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Roman Reigns as Akuma, Jason Momoa as Blanka, and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog, among others.
