VVCE’s first batch to reunite after 25 years, to honour their teachers in Mysuru

Memories of campus life, cherished friendships, and gratitude towards teachers will take centre stage as the first batch of graduates of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) will come together to celebrate their silver jubilee reunion on September 26.

The 2001 batch, marking 25 years since completing their graduation, will hold the reunion at the Training and Placement Seminar Hall on the VVCE campus at 10 a.m. The gathering will provide an opportunity to the alumni to reconnect, revisit their college memories, and celebrate their professional and personal journeys over the past two-and-a-half decades.

A highlight of the reunion will be ‘Guru Vandana’, a felicitation programme organised by the first-batch alumni to honour the teachers who guided and inspired them during their formative years. The programme is intended as a tribute to the faculty members whose contribution helped shape the academic foundation and careers of the graduates.

The reunion will celebrate the enduring bond between teachers and students while providing an opportunity to the alumni to share their experiences and achievements since graduation. VVCE has invited all members of its first batch to participate in the milestone celebration, which will bring together alumni, faculty members, and members of the institution’s management.

Professor Sadashive Gowda, Principal, VVCE, Mysuru, said, “VVCE takes pride in organising the silver jubilee alumni meet of its first batch under the University of Mysuru. It is laudable that students of the first batch are spread all over the world and doing extremely well in their chosen fields.”

VVCE President Gundappa Gowda, Secretary P. Vishwanath, and Treasurer Sreeshaila Ramannavar will participate in the celebration.
