Young Americans see hope in a shared China-US future

Chinese President Xi Jinping recently replied to a letter from young students representing 10 US universities, who wrote to him after participating in youth exchange programs in China. CGTN reporter Wu You spoke with three American students who received the reply, asking about their thoughts and feelings after reading it. Some described it as a tremendous surprise, while others emphasized that, as members of the younger generation, they see genuine hope for the future of China-US relations — for it is the youth, after all, who will shape that future.
