Zelenskyy: N.Korea readying 10,000 more troops for Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has indicated that North Korea is preparing to send an additional 10,000 troops to Russia. He has also said more than 8,000 North Korean troops are currently on Russian territory.

In a social media post on Monday, Zelenskyy wrote that North Korea has received technical support from Russia in return for the deployment and established a production system for Shahed-type attack drones.

He warned that deepening military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang poses a growing threat, and urged the international community to respond together.

Zelenskyy said, "This is how evil encroaches, and how a threat to life in one part of the world spreads to other parts," adding, "This can only be overcome together."

Meanwhile, Russia's defense ministry posted on social media on Tuesday that its forces had carried out an attack on port infrastructure facilities in the Odesa region, two data centers in Kyiv and other targets. The ministry said these installations were used to support Ukraine's military activities.
